For those complaining about Nakama power: it isn't the case here. She didn't got a power upgrade because of friendship, she had the power before but couldn't find a reason to use it. (Though, there is still a problem: if she had the power before, why wasn't she more useful during the first attack)

For those wondering: there will be no harem for the MC. (At least up to the last translated chapter of the novel). Nearly all girls encountered will meet their soulmate, but the MC will only have his waifu and nothing else (some girls will be interested in him but that stop here)

@Goldenzeal Didn't know that. I guess the first version deviated from the original, but I found it better, the character was likable. He had a lot of flaws but was not a jerk.

@TetraSky She didn't use charm she just repeated the lines of the game, thinking it would lead to the "capture" of Claude (In the sense of capture of heart). Hence the gears (It's metaphorical). The gear snapping page 25 is meaning that the story deviated from the game.

A small mistranslation: When she said that she will tell everything to the others (P.20), what Claude should be thinking is "The others will think she lied to protect Aileen" (Or something like that. Basically, the nobles will still think Aileen is the culprit and Lilia is kindhearted)

I find this version a lot worse than the first. In the first, Tanaka was a clueless pervert idiot, but he had a lot of modesty, he only dreamed about the ero, never acting too outrageous. Here, we have a plain pervert scum. I can't come to like this version, while the first had a certain charm...
