@Mapax I hear people say “How rude!” all the time (and was used to hearing it long before The Phantom Menace). It’s weirder that you exclusively associate that phrase to Jar-Jar.
Weird question: is it traditional in Japan to shake with your left hand? Because they always seem to shake hands with their left in manga. (I’m used to shaking with the right hand, so this always comes across as weird to me.)
People are saying that Nie Li is acting irrationally and, yeah, he is. Unresolved emotional trauma will do that to a person. And all those feelings have come bubbling up in the last five minutes after coming face to face with both his former Master (who recognized him and just told him her name...

This is gonna sound like the weirdest complaint... but I hope he gets rid of/replaces that Robe soon. He was told early on that spellcasters wear armor for protection, and him wearing that makes people think he’s just “cosplaying” as a spellcaster. Plus, I can’t stand the way it looks. 😖

I like the duo of one OP Mage spec’d for power, and the other spec’d for precision. But it’s a weird choice to make both of them lack common sense. It’s like the blind leading the blind.
Seriously though, in this case the MC’s problem isn’t common sense, it’s reading comprehension. Because the...
@deathmailrock These manga might be taking their cues from RPGs, but 90% of the stuff in the classic JRPGs was lifted directly from early editions of the D&D tabletop RPGs (like orcs having pig faces and kobolds being dog-like). And, of course, D&D borrowed heavily from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord...
