Last few chapters I went into "You're going to isekai and yet you fail to bring technology, chemistry, geology books with you? Like even a simple glass blowing manual would be worth a country and a half! Why did you not bring any knowledge with you?!"
Well here's the answer this manga gives...
I am now at chapter 6 and I decided to re-check the rating on this one. As of now it's 8.3 and it is 100% deserved. The author has a truly deft hand in subduing them shoujo isekai wish-fulfillment tropes while at the same time embracing the wish-fulfillment itself. Seinen to the core.
Isekai...
This chapter is full of reveals. Some fairly obvious, some surprising, some traps... Of course this means that main plot is going nowhere and we now somehow should be invested in this set of randos that have suddenly taken over the stage. Well I am invested in the dark one, but I know she won't...
To those, who postulate that there would be greater financial benefit from selling/prostituting/ransoming the girls instead of killing them - you're missing the Way Of Life point.
They are an insular group that targets outsiders by being peaceful and nice on face value. Hence if anyone would...
Got murdered by her father. Calls it "a certain incident"...
I guess murderers have feelings too and we should not trigger them, lest they start feeling bad about themselves.
The bad isekai use being isekai'd as just a means of wish fulfillment which has little bearing on the plot.
Just now this isekai got the message and being isekai'd is now part of the plot in chapter 16 not just in chapter 1.
This should be quite a good manga.
They understand each other without words due to the fact that they've spent a lot of time using only gestures and have grown to read each other immediately?
Nope. Suddenly: TELEPATHY. Without any introduction too.
The rating on this one just went down a peg.
The villains in this story are dumber than a bag of frozen meatballs.
WHY would you pull in someone to stop your plan into the mix?
WHY would you not just summon the village as a whole immediately since you CAN do it?
WHY would you explain everything to your target instead of using the townsfolk...
Wow. This is trashy in a totally unexpected way.
The protagonist is a flat and boring character but at least he evades most isekai tropes.
There are no antagonists which just cracks me up every time i think about it. Pure blissful utopia. Some hilarious shit right there.
But the thing that...
Whoa. I didn't recall this being quite the worldbuilder manga. I thought this was just another trashy isekai I binge on, but this episode... WOW. This just went up in quality in a single bout. That replacement event.. wow!
I go from page 2 to page 3 and shudder...
So what happened, then? Well, in Whoville they say –
that the MC's and FL's breasts grew three sizes that day.
Ugh.
You don't know what land you're in
I'm in the land of PANDERING.
When an artist forgets that a piece of clothing not only starts at its top, but also ends at its bottom... you get the last page of this wonderful masterpiece.
ALSO: Magic bra: shoulder strap exists, but the bra itself doesn't!
So the artist finally managed to hone in on her masculine facial traits and makes her passable as being taken for a guy.
But also she's way better looking than before...
How?
