This matches part of chapter 755 and all of 756 in the novel. Weird if others looted the inner/grand palace behind the soul artifact, yet didnt they do anything for the ~100 corpses or the saintess/MC. Maybe they looted them as well, but the novel says MC looted the corpses, which makes it weirder.
