This chapter probably was maybe the most "wholesome" in this manga so far, though making friends in real life isn't quite that easy, and people don't really change their opinions that easily (for the better) of someone they first dislike, which is a shame.. But then again everything is possible...

So the MC is just totally going by the flow (i.e. does what other people tell him).. First he was made to duel by the princess, and now he's made to move/live together by the principal, with the princess..? I would prefer to see a protagonist make his own decisions, and not be like a kite...

Wow, this MC is really weak and pathetic, considering the time and effort he has put behind his training... I mean he doesn't have to one-off them necessarily, but it shouldn't also be this hard either.. Also, I'm already calling it, BUT, I already bet on it that his beta boy protagonist wont...

This manga just totally ignored the sum of money he won.. How much was it? Did he pay back to the woman who lent him the participation money (1k gold)? Did/is he going to give his mother some prize money to get by? I think those are rather essential bits of information.

I could see a working concept here, but with some major changes regarding the character... After the training period, he should've gained a zen-like confidence/calmness/mentality, which would be the cause of his mind growing to it's "fullest potential". Also, I would've made the MC to meditate...

Wow, just wow... The guy easily beats the "sword master" of his school, and the only thing he is good at (except sword fighting), is doubting himself/having very low self-esteem regarding his skills... I_HATE_THIS_TROPE_SO_MUCH The super strong, but yet disbelieving of his own skills -protagonist
