Split personality was my guess too.
I wonder if it has any relations to his position in government in that intelligence and research division or whatever.
If I remember correctly, Leader lost that little gamble against Baku during the hanged man game, right? So if losing is a trigger for him...
@tack215
That makes sense.
I'm guessing the lip biting this time around was essentially to remind Yakou of that time he realized both Baku and Kyara were basically working together; telling him "now it's your opportunity to climb with me to the top", or something. Like as a sort of motivator...
I wonder what the deal was with Tatsuki in that flashback. It seemed like he was having trouble finishing his speech there with Yakou. Health issues maybe? That'd be ironic considering what he's doing currently. Lol
Still, pretty awesome how he swiftly reacted to Kyara's surprise kick. As if I...
Yes, thank you for the recap. I was about to go back and reread this arc (probably still will anyway) to get a better overall picture, but for now that really helped clarify things for me.
@catx3
Whoops. Yep, you're right. For some reason I was under the mindset that high number guesses was the safest option for both single and double digit numbers. What I should've said was 12.
I feel really stupid now. Haha
So I suppose the safest guesses for Suteguma would be either 10 (if he has 9 or less) or 19 (if he has 10 exactly). Though I'd imagine they wouldn't wanna spend too much time with the chaplain since they're against the clock with this game. So it might be more beneficial to take more daring...
So they don't have to use the chaplain, correct? It's just there as an opportunity to gaining the bead count on equal grounds? You know, on the assumption you're incapable of forcing it out of opponent in other ways?
