@Debrandir I think that's intentional here. I believe the mc is like this because he has spent too much time interacting with those spirits of nature and as a result lost part of his humanity.

@Tamerlane She did say in some previous chapter that she loves everything equally so maybe she meant literally everything, including the topic at hand here. Looking at it from that point of view it might not be weird that she's able to talk about it calmly despite being a girl.
