@Murricath No, he meant that he would have to kill the heresy inquisitor himself to prevent our mc from becoming a killer. That's why it says at the end of the chapter that he realized he won't be able to kill the guy no matter how hard he tries.

Somebody should probably tell LH that they accidentally named these 2 chapters as mage instead of sage on MD. They named it correctly on page 5 of the previous chapter so it's just a mistake on the uploader's part and not a scanlation error.

I think he's going to ask them all to convert to the dragon religion. Worship a dragon for a moment, get all the salt you'll ever need. Best deal ever.

@Bellaxus At least it's not as bad here as it was with the main girl in Komura-san (https://mangadex.org/title/32440). That's the manga this new cover reminded me of anyway so I just had to mention it.

@LegitRikk If I recall correctly the reason for that is given near the beginning of the story (I'm not sure if the manga version included it though). It was that if his identity was found out before he became strong enough to defend himself the demons would come to kill him. That still doesn't...
