A fun read, even if it ultimately goes nowhere. Feels a bit like it got axed, but, if so, it's not the worst axe i've seen. Still would have liked more and maybe an actual conclusion.
@Gol_D_Wukong I mean she, for all intents and purposes, murdered this girl's brother for being loud on the train. If this wasn't supposed to be a fluffy comedy and the world was actually well developed she'd be in jail right now.
Surprisingly, this series is actually good. The first couple chapters didn't give me a lot of confidence, but it's showing improvement. The art is rough, but that fits the tone of the story quite well. My only complaint is that, in fights especially, it's sometimes too rough to even tell what is...
So far very promising. MC seems like he might actually be a character (and he is definitely likeable enough so far). My biggest worry is that it'll go for a "all humans are evil and all demons are good" type of route, but definitely worth a follow at the moment
Would just like to say that the translations for this are genuinely fantastic. The story doesn't take itself too seriously, so neither should the translators.
The occasional bit of pure amorality (the 2 chapters with the little boy turned to stone are the big ones) contrasts horribly with the generally cute and wholesome feel of the rest of the series. Those are few and far between, but it's still a bit off-putting. Otherwise a solid read. Not a lot...
So a lot of people are comparing this to Kenja no Mago, but, going off of this first chapter at least, the differences are fairly surface level. Kenja no Mago is silly but actually has a fairly serious plot running underneath. This, so far, looks like it's just going to be dumb fun. Still...
The sad part about this is that the scantalators are only hurting themselves and the readers through this. The only reason I ever made a trip to a scantalator's site was because they had a bit of a delay on a chapter that I was dying to read. As far as I am aware, Mangadex is the only site that...
Damn, another Onio series that gets axed much too soon. It's a shame, all his stuff is good. None are masterpieces, but they are all a damn sight better than a lot of what I see that gets to go on for much longer.
Surprisingly endearing characters, solid humor, horny teens actually acting like it, and even a bit of character development. Definitely worth a follow.
@SunsetSeeker Also I appreciate your avatar
Might just be the dumbest thing I've ever read, but it was quite enjoyable. Always nice reading something that doesn't take itself seriously and just wants to be fun to read.
For all the hate this arc got, I really liked it. The ice kaguya was a bit annoying at first, but there was still a nice amount of humor, some of it excellent, scattered throughout, and, quite frankly, I would have been willing to put up with more crap that we got for a pay off like this...
