Author: How can I stick to the isekai trope of having the MC have complete control over at least one of the heroines without calling it slavery?
Author: I got it! Lets call it a contract and make her his pet! That's totally better, right?
🤮
Dude, just move on or study for yourself.
Someone who requires you to meet their dumb sky-high expectations in order for them to respect you will never make for a good partner.
Hino is unbearable.
@Thoxi1026 MC in this isn't even that bad though. At least he has the ability to think on his feet, even if he does panic a bit along the way. The same can't be said for most romcom MCs. Also just about everyone in this manga is blushing about 50% of the time. It's just the artist's style.
@Youngrandy7701 Botan? Tried looking it up and all I got was a character from YuYu Hakusho and a side character from some other show.
Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. She's from Ookami Shounen. I read that manga so long ago that I forgot about it.
The whole slave trope is extremely overused but this is I think the first time I've seen the MC actually handle it well, actually trying to get the person to unlearn everything they had ingrained into them as a slave and telling her to not be afraid to speak up if something he does upsets her...
Honestly I don't think the friend is too right on this one because he doesn't know the situation Nao had just been in.
The hug was completely justified and pretty normal for that situation I'd say. Kouki felt sorry that he hadn't been vigilant (even if he's not at fault for anything).
The...
@Nk9bjP4A Yea the whole manga trope of white skin = beautiful gets pretty exhausting. I think she was supposed to have been turned into a human (or elf, judging by the ears) by her desire to live as long as MC, and that's probably the author's reasoning for her skin no longer being green, but...
Step 1: MC uses the money to go to a college somewhere other than Tokyo that is cheaper and brings Chako with him. (Just don't tell the teacher about Chako)
Step 2: Since the money was just for MC to get an education and housing, both MC and Chako find part time work while MC is in school so...
How popular is this series in Japan? I want an anime of it so badly. It's the only series I've found that does a good job parodying isekai. Most of them are just really unfunny, but this one's gold.
@Josekvar because it floods people's feeds with chapters they have already read. It'd be different if the uploader was using their own group so that people could just block it.
Right now it's just annoying and we can't even do anything about it because blocking the /a/nonymous group would block...
