@goblinguy @mahtan Did she know that the consuming was caused by mana overflow? She may know that magic exists, but only in such a way that you introduce a credit card to a college student and let them know they can pay for things with it. Nothing about credit scores, interest rates, and so...
@truepurple It's explained that she can't get the tools on her own. She's going to need some really good connections. In chapter 18, the Guildmaster already showed interest in her ideas and having her work for them.
It's chapter 20 that she was told that the consuming could be cured with...
So one other take I haven't seen is going to be the "Why weren't you there to save me earlier" mentality that gets to the point of lashing out of "I don't need anyone else to save me, I'll do it myself".
This generally shows up when they've had a bad childhood, no or bad parents creating an...
I'm actually disappointed that there wasn't a punchline about the big cats liking boxes, cause like others said, they definitely do.
Oh it's continuing chapters, we'll see how it goes.
@aFFi good to know. I hadn't noticed the flag difference. I normally stay away from Chinese Manhua and had been surprised I liked this one. (It's stereotyping aF, but I've been burned too many times by Manhua with lackluster story and terrible flow). So far, I've been reading each chapter...
@Luminary agreed. I'm hoping its more translation issues than original wording. As in the statement is the typical parent towards child and that they'll be capable in the future and such.
I mean, its a ecchi gag manga so it usually does wind up up being the other way, which is comedy factor...
@Coriander Thank you.
For anyone else, there seems to be more to the novels (which people can link to from the MU link)
And it seems what we were reading is the side story: https://www.alphapolis.co.jp/novel/835126235/537072498
Where there's a larger main story...
That's odd, the webcomic ends at this point too and seems to have been last posted in 2007. The novel says 10 volumes of "The other world wandering record of me and Aoi", which makes me wonder what was covered and where it stopped. It kind of sounds like this would have been book 3 or 4 of 10...
@tickub Well, it wouldn't be unusual for someone to think that way or possibly forget. After all, she does keep killing the sheet demons and can take out many of the others.
@invader_retro Some of us don't know why either. Either they somehow think that the raws don't have them and the groups are adding them, which is pretty ridiculous but people seem to think this, or, they don't like that the hard work the translators, redrawers, etc do without cost to the...
I love that this year had an ad to this lovely manga. I recommend it's for it's slice of life peacefulness plus it's occasional odd mystery. You should also read Aqua first in the related prequel section. Give Amano-sensi your love.
@siscon @qelix @nachtness This is the expected path. It was defined in chapter 1 where the main goal is a harem and the guild master said it was normal and that he had two wives as well.
Plus, poly is a thing, why settle with only one when people are open, honest and communicative?
