@gr8g I'm fairly certain that this one has to remain fictional, since sunlight powers photosynthesis of the algae(?) in the terrarium. Fun concept though.
The translation is now finished on Patreon. It's on nyaa, but I do recommend supporting the artist if you can. Consistently strong from beginning to end!
@OG_Calculus it's quite likely that that reflects the way the pages were originally supplied. even when scanned from a debound book, double page halves never exactly match - the centre must be manually redrawn.
Currently anthologies are handled poorly at worst and inconsistently at best. This is attributable to the fact that one-shot stories are not uploaded consistently, sometimes being uploaded as part of a multi-story anthology and sometimes being uploaded individually.
Moto Hagio's "Yanagi Ki" is...
Confusingly, this was actually already on the site but filed under an anthology. If you liked this, definitely go check out Hagio's other work, you won't regret it.
Interestingly enough, I didn't go to the exhibition but did come here to see if it was up here after buying the catalogue. If not, I would have scanned it from there since it's so very short.
@plankdeer thanks dude. it's just me working on the TS side of things so I've got a lot of scope to play around with the typesetting. looking to see what other good stuff I can put together for the remaining chapters!
