I'm so confused on how his abilities work. I thought he wasn't supposed to be able to use any skills? Or was it leveling his "jobless" job what allows him to set sub-jobs and gain skills from those jobs? Like, can other people use sub-jobs or just him because of his "jobless" job?

His "double" skills are either mistranslated or complete bullshit. He should have HP of 655,360 at level 17 if his stats double at level up. It's stupid calling it "double" when it literally only doubled for his first level up. Nevermind I understand how it works now.
