well, I think it more likely is unofficial advisor but they call it "venting companion" so it would not trigger political problem later since normally it should be someone like prime minister to be close enough to hear king's vent but somehow no high ranking officer considered to be close...

@NightsLament well, his skill to train people could bring him benefit as a lord then as adventurer Tiana thinks that and advice him with this reward cuz she already look for a path that would be good for MC's mind and future since as a lord, people he trained could stay with him and help him...

really like this good vibe quit party plot and his teammate really care for MC's life to have him develop a fief that could benefit him in a future rather than have him meet a dead end every time he joins new party and end up with nothing

@Avrune I read that one, it's interesting that author use a way to give MC a second chance other than return back in time but I more like it in first part, later part seem like they rush too much at a cost of quality

@eng1 so that is, it would be good if MC would have more interaction with other characters, I quite bore at KR comic/novel that only tell about MC's action without any relationship

@bakauguu agree, MC don't even try to find trusty allies, quite disappoint for this progressing since KR dungeon world often be about lone MC fight, if this one go in same way then it would be boring...

in novel he explain in different way though (in this same scene) it more like her power not come from nothing, since she didn't take energy from any-source so this ability cost her life for energy instead but take energy from magic stone and train to control her power's output could balance...

@aoi_sora they're all return to their ugly look and somehow their high society favor beauty too much that they start to hate each other because of that author leave ending to reader imagination but I think country could fall to ruin from chaos since every people in that country have their look...
