A Wuxia with a likeable protagonist that isn't constantly picking fights, a cast that doesn't constantly underestimate him and actually respects him and realizes he's powerful from the start, and a story that doesn't get bogged down in too much cultivation nonsense? What sorcery is this?

Feels like they spent more time writing the credits page rant than editing the chapter. There are way more errors in here than usual.

I don't like the mage much either but to his credit he was ambushed, outnumbered, and trying to protect her at the same time.

@izayamikaelis we tend to forget since most isekais conveniently have the morality of modern day Japan but medieval societies tended to treat people as adult much earlier. It remains to be seen if this is one of those societies of if the brother is just a special kind of asshole

@jimmyclear she's the child of a slave, which in this series makes her almost but not quite a slave herself. Only the asshole brother treats her like a slave. I imagine her eye power is probably going to be some rare bloodline trait that skipped some generations so nobody even knows she has it.
