@traveling_chef Actually, based on the translated part of the web novel, the two show up again as minor characters here and there, which makes this change more baffling. I wonder if this was something they also changed for the light novel version, or if this is a manga exclusive change.

@truepurple I think they're implying she's more like his mistress while Gudrid was supposed to be the legal wife for political purposes? Seemed like she was added just to make Sig have a lover so her introduction is a bit confusing.

I always hate it when a story goes "At that time, I had no idea..." because it usually never is at bad as it sounds and is usually just a cheap way to set up a cliffhanger
