@kronix I don't think so. If yes, that would completely destroy his character. I get the feeling he just plays the role of the guy that makes the main guy show his feelings more because he's afraid of losing the girl.

It's funny how everyone used to love this manga and now that it's nearing the end everyone is just complaining, as if they didn't have fun while reading..

If the author wanted to make people like Toba less, they did a good job.
