The writing of this story was waaaay too all over the place. Feels like the author really didn't know whether he wanted it to be a time travel related story with some sort of comedy attached, and then he didn't know how he wanted the characters to end up. Yikes, what a mess.
Edit: and i was...
lmao i actually just have no idea what the direction of this manhua is. is it wish fulfillment? is it a romcom? is there some sort of supernatural subplot going on? this feels like something written by a teenager on fanfiction
It makes 0 sense that he'd even side with this random chick, honestly. He just got into Kusora's good books, and now decides the best course of action is to betray her? Really hoping he didn't save after picking option 2.
> same writer as hayate no gotoku
yikes, instant avoid. this guy wouldn't know proper pacing if it crawled down his throat. it'll take him another 8 years to finish this one
I like stories where there's no clear cut hero and everyone is fucked
that being said, everybody is so laughably villainous lmao. this really is shield hero with more edge. only this time, instead of the MC becoming less edgy as he regains compassion and empathy, it only gets worse
Miyajima Reiji makes wonderful art but cannot write romance to save his life. Sumi is effectively not necessary to progress the plot. And the MC's ex girlfriend is still shrouded in mystery and has been for almost 100 chapters now. There has been no progress on the MC's behalf. This is basically...
@conscript117 There is no major plot difference between the WN and the LN. However, the LN is often more professional in regards to its writing and localization. If i were to reread it, I'd want to read the officially localized LN
so either netsuho's memories were erased and she was put under a compulsion... or the hateful cat is an natural entity that is magically reborn every generation, and natsuho is this generation's cat while fuyuho was the last one
