@werewolf914 Even in their 30s it's always Takagi that makes the moves. That's their dynamic: when he inevitably scores it's going to be because Takagi makes him score. @mrkorb he won't win, and that's the point, as he doesn't need to. The roles are reversed, which makes everything even funnier...

@supermoonchrome I see what you mean... That 2 weeks BS was just a stupid attempt of the author to generate plot drama. I honestly will never understand why people get angry at a fictional character, and not at the author that wrote them. Ikada Kai is a great artist, but still has miles to go...

@supermoonchrome IMO No one will see it coming because that makes no narrative sense, but as I said here before, I can imagine the author doing that, sadly, for the worst reasons too. I do wonder though, why do people here are rooting for Sayu? Is it underdog bias?

@phosphylite, I've since re-read the chapter and you are right! It does come across correctly, I just missed that bit of important nuance.

Koutarou: take all the time you need to decide. Also Koutarou: I'm coming over right now to hear your thoughts. I hope they have a proper adult conversation next chapter and he actually keeps his word on giving her time to decide.

Apparently to this author, going further on education, finding a job or getting married are mutually exclusive. Either that, or it's a translation problem.
