@kenkagejack I'm not against her treatment as much as I dislike how the Spirit's decisions are more based on what the author wants from the plot than being an actual character in the story. Which makes the decisions taken seem arbitrary in terms of the story.

@plsnobully I think they mean it as talent/aptitude rather than an upper limit. They have all probably grown up equating a low score with low ability because the amount of training to achieve mastery with low "potential" is so overwhelming, that people just haven't done it.
