@relic626 Yeah, probably something along those lines. Probably something about symbolic magic, like how he can walk because he has "legs". It does make me wonder, how often has the empire found talking skeletons, since he knew removing the jaw would shut him up. Or was he just so annoyed that he...
Lol. I find it funny that taking the jaw off the skeleton makes him mute. I mean, I can see the logic in it, but it also clashes with the logic that he doesn't have any lungs anyway. Nor muscles, larynx etc.
I read the original entry over on the SCP foundation once. I looked it up when I saw it again here. It's not a quadruped in windows, it's a humanoid creature that "appears to have an unguligrade posture.", i.e. walking on two legs, but having the back of the foot lifted off the ground. Think...
I gotta admit, even though I do like this story, I am a bit annoyed at it. Specifically, the "cannibal monster" parts. I am fairly certain that it's meant as "Human eating monsters" and not the actual meaning of the word cannibal: "One who eats another of their own species"
Huh. I would think that Thug 1 would want Thug 2 to sheathe his sword instead of unsheathing it, since that's what he was doing wrong in the first place
Honestly, "This is our consensus" sounds better than "We all can't give our consent". That sentence just seems muddled, with that "all" put in. "This is our consensus" basically means "This is the decision we have come to"
