@NARKist
I'm not making any assumptions that she did or did not manipulate her families into thinking that she's good. I don't see how that would help her case if it were true. Rather, that seems like it would further incriminate her.
@Nunally
I'm very curious about what you mean by no "real...
@NARKist
If she were a child, that would be one thing, but she's definitely not. She's actually lived seven different human lifetimes. Long enough that she's reached the stage of ennui that comes with very old age.
Her original parents may have been bad, but she also had five other families...
@BloodySorcerer
"merely manipulated people so she could have a family?" Huh? You did read the part about summoning zombies, almost destroying the world by raising an evil dragon, stealing people's secrets through mind control, and turning people's friends against each other, right? She did all...
"Besides, she's already received punishment for what she's done." Is the author effing serious?! Really? Even if it's not on her terms, she gets everything she wanted in the end.
And even after she's got the familiar contract, she's adding insult to injury by erasing people's memories. It...

In the first chapter, he says he was an Engineer who made blueprints. He doesn't have perfect memory, and there's already been some scenes where he's struggled to remember things, though with how long this story is, it's hard to track them down.
Although I don't mind going back in time, I feel like the story could have done just fine with her reaching the top without future knowledge, because she seems cool and capable as is.
Still interested as heck though.
Curse you worst possible timing! 😭
Even though they present it as a comedy, the way they're indoctrinating Moe is legitimately uncomfortable. I hope she gets an opportunity to see the other side of the story sometime.
@Sootyxsnowpetal
It looks like a concord stagecoach, although I can't really see if it's using the typical leather strap suspension. (Also, it doesn't seem like they're making use of staging... but the whole setting is already a bit anachronistic.)
The average speed was probably 5 mph...
@Saloria_Stralli
They may or may not be truly happy, but like everyone else, they won't know for sure. (I feel like my joke has gotten away from me now...)
