I agree with the sentiment that this series is best read for long stretches and not one chapter at a time. The pacing kills an otherwise very enjoyable story.
I am *really* curious how Fern captured her Stille. She seemingly did it all on her own with very little effort. I'm expecting a punchline later on.
For now I'm just going to enjoy these wizards going to war with one another.
On the first page he mentions the girl he loves, which comes with a small image of her.
Now look at the hair she has and the hair of the mother on the last page.
Literally demon relationship goals.
But I can understand why Kuromu is so afraid that if Gyari manages to have her she'll immediately lose interest in her.
Also, that credit page is rocking!
Two childhood friends. Are close enough to constantly squable. Perfectly in sync with each other. Lawine knows all of Kanne's good points. Kanne utters Lawine's name moments before she thinks she's about to die.
Frieren: "You hate Lawine, don't you?"
Kanne: "That's right."
Me:
Damn it, Laius/Laios! She just summoned every type of dragon to kill you and your party!
This whole situation isn't going to unfuck itself with a meal and a simple talking to!
Sung Jin-Woo often comes off as cold or even downright merciless. It might even seem he simply uses Jin-Ho so he can have a solo guild. So I find it comforting to see that Sung Jin-Woo just gives away this miracle cure for nothing in return out of kindness towards his guild master.
tldr; he did...
