yup, the power of the people is massive, democracy is built around it in a sense even, though nowadays it sometimes comes to feel like it's involuntary .
i've reread this a few times, such a good chapter, their relationship was always one of the highlights of this already exceptional manga, in terms of the nuance behind it atleast
just the mc's slight instinctual resistance but also his slight heartfelt interest for seemingly no reason is just...
@Cratekitten just browsing and i probably won't take the time to read this one but if all manga were described so literally then reading manga would be a punishable offense, though i'd say it probably still is sometimes
@StaK calls author a smartass,.... then acts like a total smartass..................
i don't know where the normalcy of your words that you hide behind is supposed to be when you just sound like the biggest self-entitled jerk in all of comment section-vile.
and i'd understand if you just wanted...
In a sense after iruma himself develops, this wicked one will exist no more, as the normal one will have already grown into some of these more confident character traits, and this one won't be the opposite of his personality anymore.
And i like the normal iruma a bit more still, he has more...
@miyako19 alice is probably a dude, but does anyone honestly think it matters? you buzzkill, he's obviously best girl!
and alice is really not a unisex name lol, it's considered extremely feminine now, regardless of what it was used as in the past or what kind of name it counts technically as...
yeah, i was somehow able to partly predict this as well,
though probably not because i was clever about it but i felt it from the very start, just because of how his eyes were drawn
it's amazing how subtle changes can so easily tip our brains off
and how art can take advantage of it so well
it's not ambition, it's partly his sense of self-worth, an amount of pride so to speak, deserved as well.
and more importantly his sense of accomplishment.
honestly the part upto beating the demon was fine, there were power spam parts but there were genuinely interesting and martial arts parts too or rather that's what most of them were, and the emotional conflict behind the power spam was good enough, and the assassin old men were wonderful
one...
yeah, their's might be the most interesting relationship in this novel,
you can see their relationship developing and them softening up to each other.
it's well done and the master is actually an interesting character, especially with how different he initially appears from the mc.
a bit of a shame, it seems like they've indirectly done a bit of a retcon on the strength of the destroyer and made people stronger than him or just as strong exist now, which didn't seem to be case in the edgy sword boy fight chapter.
but on the plus side, this means that mc has actual threats...
i actually kinda like him not killing, especially given the character and world justifications.
And it seems kind of interesting that he's using the skills that he was given from the destroyer who raised him with affection, to fight without killing people,
it also puts some tension into...
he's not some great person overall, but he's got a heart,
even when he could've continued to be selfish, he gave up his own desires and his reason for living to try to look after some helpless kids
fully aware that it wouldn't absolve him of his crimes and aware of the burden they are on his...
we don't really know enough about the wild dogs to judge that
maybe there's something hidden going on.
though i feel like he should already be immune to poison
oof,
this is even sadder than i thought, the foreshadowing of the master's spirit staying back to watch over him was true,
and he now he just want's the kid he raised to live a good life.
