I've got a feeling that "A DOU SHI (ア ドウ シ)" is actually a broken up "A. Doushite? (あ。どうして？)" a.k.a. "Ah. Why?", but I decided against putting it in like that before we know more. Pretty dang sure about the "WH Y" part, though. It was "na (ナ)" and "ze (ゼ)".

@gouder I'll just headcanon it being like ghosts showing up on recordings but invisible with the naked eye and stuff. Like you can see the movie club guys see him projected, but they looked like they had no idea what was going on and couldn't see him stuck on the physical film tapes themselves...

@gouder From what I can tell, there are three types of people. The first can see ghosts naturally (Hitomi), the second can see ghosts if they choose to show themselves (Yachiko, Kuon, Kotori, Shiori, young Igarashi), and the third can't see ghosts at all (old Igarashi, Furuya, maybe Orie)...
