I tried starting to read this manga several times but the first few chapters always turned me off, however after finally making it through those first few I binged the whole thing, great read! Great mix of humor and action!

Seems like almost every Manhua I've read is a power fantasy, makes me wonder if that's because Chinese people feel powerless.

I love the trope where someone insults the fuck outta some assholes with a smile on their face.

I actually like the slower pace, the financial stuff is fun to read for me. Then again I'm the type who actually read Spice and Wolf and Maoyuu for the medieval economics.

I always like isekai where the MC starts weak, or at least not overpowered. Also cats are nice. It's fairly standard, but enjoyable.

As usual for Isekai the MC is OP, though not as OP as some others. That said I like the medieval politics and battle tactics, obviously it's not completely accurate, but by manga standards it's better than most.

Was turned off by the summary, since I hate the 'city slicker goes to the country' trope; but I ended up reading it anyway since it's Hiromu Awakawa and I don't regret it. It's a great read, too bad I just realized it's on haitus, probably due to Arslan. Oh well, it leaves off on a spot that...

Personally find it hard to read, religious zealot type villains are the most annoying type because they remind of me of people I know in real life.

I'm not against lewd fanservice, but typically manga with high amounts of titillation tend to suffer in other areas. However in this case I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the story despite this manga basically being softcore porn much of the time.

Honestly I hate how easily forgiven some villains can be. "Your sins don't vanish just because someone more evil came along" is a nice change of pace.
