@monkey123: I thought it was pretty good when i read it years back. Nothing amazing, but entertaining, and the worldbuilding utilizes a mix of Judeochristian and Sumerian motifs, which is somewhat uncommon.

@Aretheus: When it was originally posted on Niconico this was set to music and semi-animated, with pans around the frames to indicate motion and sequence of events.

@Pringlehunter: Between the original manga and its sequel it ran for 24 volumes and started in the early 80s. The cover image is probably from a later reprinting, done after considerable art evolution (since it more resembles the style of the artists works from the late 90s.)

@DrNo: Torako was trying to calm Suzume down by following up on Suzume's threat to "turn her into mincemeat" by asking for specifics; I.e. how finely ground Suzume takes her ground beef. :p

Fortunately for Torako, her new school seems to be populated entirely by some of the most wholesome "delinquents" i've ever seen (barring the standard "not really a delinquent" misunderstood protagonist trope.)
