Given that everyone translating the novels got threatened into stopping, I'm all for as many people translating this as possible

I do believe the displaying of original release dates of titles was planned, though this was only discussed in threads but never put on the sticky.

Implementing "just the important stuff" when the entire site is being overhauled results in duplicated effort and a waste of everyone's time, esp. when the site is being overhauled BECAUSE the existing codebase is too much of a mess to easily implement such features

@hellknightofdeath You can't delete or lock this thread yourself. You simply have to endure the shame for the few hours it takes for it to be pushed off the top 5 by other people also asking for already rejected features.

@Chroma Except that I'm fairly sure "Don't Bully Me Nagotoro" and "Elf-San Can't Diet" were not the original titles as uploaded, though "This Girl is Not Just Cute" might have been. They even explicitly compare the word "bully" with the phrase "toy with"

As per the sticky thread "READ FIRST: Planned and Rejected Features", "Indicate preferred title from alt-titles" is a planned feature. As for setting such a rule and enforcing it in crowdsourced environment like this... good luck with that. Whether you like it or not, those are official English...
