I've decently liked this manga so far, BUT you can't help but to think for MC being a bit naive there... As if things would end like that, since the enemies are basically mass slavering/-murdering psychopaths..

Yeah no, just lets not use the golem army in the castle. Lets use the guests who are very easily hurt/killed. Makes total sense. Also, let's not kill the obvious rotten people who treat other people (slaves) like objects. Let's use silk gloves, and non-lethal tactics, because mah morals.

This flying castle is utterly wasted on this doormat, gullible idiot protagonist. He (elf guy) has shown zero proofs to backup his story. Could be a total trap to lure in this idiot MC. Also, he had NO REASON, to accept that duel. I'm starting to think this protagonist has suffered from a brain...

I think the MC's personality determines ultimately whether this is good or shit. By the dark magician encounter, at least for now, I'm thinking it will be the later one..

After this point what I think is the most important factor whether this can be an interesting story worth of attention, is the fact if this protagonist will become just another doormat, and "a great magician", who is nothing but a slave for the king/nobles, without a true control of his own...

This protagonist is totally gonna grow up being a total creep/pervert/sexual predator, if he doesn't change his ways. He really isn't even that young anymore so you could give him a pass just because of his age..
