This actually makes an interesting point. In this type of novels, the prince, most high ranking noble sons, and pretty much most other noble children are considered atleast 'decent-looking'. If there are any ugly ones, they're a rarity

@Capt_Gigglepants I counted it as either 11 or 12 daggers per 'stack', the other number being the number of stacks, + the last one he didn't throw on a stack. So no, I didn't calculate them all individually, but since the stacks looked pretty similar, I was satisfied with 2-3 stacks

Right now, if the nation wants to get him to work for him, there might be 4 options : 1) Bringing his targets to whatever location they want him to attack, and bring them out when he's there. Sooner or later, he would find out they're using them as bait, and they might not actually survive each...

@Leo80221 The problem with what you're suggesting, is that while those things are magic, he can't use those types of magic, but if he could, he could do it way more for way longer than anyone else.

@Tamerlane Anything 'living' can be affected by death in some form. How it would affect them differs quite a lot though. Also, if he pours in enough mana, he can probably affect a lot of non-living items as well.
