@Fuko There are plenty of animals, including insects, that can asexualy reproduce depending on their environmental conditions (no mates available for example). The Komodo dragon is one such animal example, but there are tons of insects so it isn't really too strange for the spider of all things...

Forget all this talk about the manga or theoretical anime disappointments or whatever. This would be a great farming game like Rune Factory or Stardew Valley, except with city management and harem building.
