    Wow, they really have changed. I too prefer it when you can look at how the art evolved over time, though. Plus the image quality on the redraws is actually really ugly. It looks like someone scanned in the old one then erased and drew over bits of it in MS Paint.

    @siscon I don't think it'd actually work out between Kumiko and Reina, but all the anime changes made it a more interesting line to explore. My original point was just that the Hibike anime in particular had its own mess of reasons for yuri talk beyond the weird purity obsession people have.

    @codetaku The Osaragi thing confused me too. Everything about her so far said to me that she was the nerdy background type that turned out to have more to her. Identifying her as the clearly standout pretty one (especially considering Onodera is the one saying it and does fit that archetype...
