@MegaAnime that was what i thought, too. which is why it's most likely gonna end up as an informal, one-off gathering for those who are planning to be there for the con... or for those who live nearby and are interested. UNLESS whoever is gonna plan this (Zephyrus et al) has different ideas...

@MegaAnime what would MangaDex use the booth for? Does it need more exposure? Does MD have merchandise to sell?

@Teasday set the bar low for the masses, i say. @Harry_Dong probably right, maybe this loophole won't be a real loophole at all with "no group" group specifically, how the Block feature is supposed to work becomes a little fuzzy... maybe i can't wrap my mind around the "no group" idea.

I can understand the confusion & annoyance if folks are seeing only Manga+ uploads on the front page, bc it seems like someone mass-updated tons of Manga+ official releases, all at once. still, I can't blame MD for this - - unless the mass update was done by a staff... !!!!! The Block Group...

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN dude, it's the timestamp. I can handle the "Edited" being there, but the timestamp is kinda shaming. especially if you happen to go back and edit several times, as i end up doing sometimes. the upside to that though is that you only see the latest edit timestamp... oh...

i've not been a victim of any troll-uploads spoiling anything so far, and i feel like the chapter-skip warning do enough as-is in notifying me. what i do is go to the manga's Title page (as i usually do) and check the chapter sequences and get an idea of the group i've been regularly reading...

i believe it was mentioned by staff before that ads would be the last-ditch option. and it's skipping way too many steps ahead thinking about sharing revenues from ads, when ads are not even a remote possibility yet. personally i think it'd be a horrible idea -- ads in general, and revenue...
