@curetwinkle I knew I wasn't the only one who thought this was similar to The Village! When I saw the hospital with Sutekichi, I was like "called it!" I'm curious too of where this manga is going.

maybe it's just me but this reminds me a lot of movie "The Village". They might in some drug/ social experiment, and I bet the "4 gods" are actually watch towers or something. Looking forward to the big reveal, or if An ever gets to the other world.

The live action movie is out in Japan now. The animation is beautiful and the OST by Yonezu Kenshi is grand. I really hope someone picks this up soon.

the prolonged battle is so annoying to read. Could be inconsistencies in releases, but seriously... this arc is a mess.

@petitmelon I couldn’t agree more. It’s more of a morbid curiosity at this point of what will happen to Reina, cos I bet Azu and Junpei will just get their “I’m so glad we made it through and I love you hug hug kiss kiss” ending.

I... I can’t see an end game for this manga (no pun intended). The pace is growing slower by each chapter and it feels like the mangaka is just writing as it goes along. I’ll stick by a bit more until it gets too boring.

this chapter was so difficult to read... the sentences were off, the scanning quality was bad, and the fonts were not good... I’m still grateful for their hard work and hopefully they will improve in the future
