@BlindThreat Anasui was a woman at first. Araki changed him to a man because Stone Ocean wasn't doing very well in Japan at the time it was being written and Araki's publishers figured that having Anasui, who was planned to be a love interest for Jolyne, be a woman would turn off more readers.
