@Avrune Thanks for the suggestion, but my buddy still very much enjoys the manga version right now! It's literally his first isekai. He's not as deep into Mangas as others.

@DLRevan Interesting point of view. Haven't looked at it that way yet. It's a little short sighted though, because with the incoming anime and the fact that manga is released in other countries, but not the LN, the manga/anime is/will be the first time for many others to consume the story. Me...

I must say that "overpower enemy out of nowhere" trope is not really an entertaining story element to me, but let's just see where this goes. Also, these "walls of skills" kind of become less interesting the more often they appear and the longer they get.
