This is good stuff. I love the rough, heavy art style - it reminds me a lot of Abe Youichi - and it's nicely paired with the dry wit and the sense of hidden depth - the certainty that there's much more going on in Kodama-san's mind than she lets on. Thanks to Penny Theater for sharing yet...

Wow! If I wasn't already a fan of this manga, I sure as hell would be now - that was one of the best chapters I've read in a long time. I'm honestly not sure if I've ever seen that many different brilliant gags all crammed into one chapter before. Props to RUI Tamachi, and to everyone...

That was adorable. This is an oddly impressive manga. It's a pretty simple and tropish setup and characters, but somehow it manages to be consistently better than it seems like it should be.

Ah - that was an especially good chapter - the transition from funny to touching and back to funny was well done.

Nice to see sensei get her turn in the spotlight, and what a turn it was. And no, @kojiro481, I'm pretty sure it's literally impossible for Komichi to dislike someone. We haven't seen her really tested yet, but I'm pretty sure that even if she faced a truly loathsome person, she'd find...

Damn this is a great manga.

A lot of surprises in this one - I just assumed that Inari was male for some reason, but not only is she female - she can transform into full kitsune form. And she can be nice.

Itachi was especially adorable, which is just so perfect. Aoi's still my second favorite though, and she looked long and sleek and stunning. But of course, Hanako's still the best - the author never leaves any doubt about that.

@ValkNightRain - thanks for the response. For some reason, that chapter only looked vaguely familiar when I re-read it. I know I read it before, but I guess it just didn't really stick in my mind. So yeah - they aren't really sisters - they just have a sort of big sister/little sister...

Have we seen Muromi's little sister before? I don't remember her. That threw me at first - I thought it was Muromi herself, but there was no way that she'd ever call whales her friends.

Ah... this is terrific. Gokicha!! is one of my all-time favorites, and this has a very similar bittersweetly goofy feel to it. And I already like the side characters, and judging by that group page at the beginning, there are many more to be introduced. Definitely looking forward to more.

Even the other girls know Hanako is best girl. And I definitely agree with much of the rest here - I'm pretty sure his plan is to make dresses for everyone, so everyone gets to model, because that's just the sort of swell guy he is.

Well... Seira managed to be not quite so irritating this chapter - I guess that's something. On another note - that panel of Hanako on page 16 is especially wonderful.

Wow - the dark one is gorgeous.

There's no real competition for best girl in this manga - that's always Hanako. The competition is for second-best. And my vote goes to Aoi.

Still trying to find something to like about Seira, and still failing.

Ah... as soon as I saw where Hotaru ended up after the seat switch, I figured we'd finally get to know her better. And this looks like it's going to be interesting and amusing.

"I can read the mood just fine..." No - actually you can't. At all. On another note - I'm impressed that all of the girls are attractive in their own way and should all be serious rivals, but Hanako still manages to be best girl anyway.
