@nameslastnames357 If you don't like the manga exactly as it is now, you are never, ever going to like it. This is exactly how it is from start to finish, there's no evil organizations to overthrow or climactic demon lord battles etc, it's an incredibly slow paced SoL / romance / harem series...

500% this, the MC gets accused of paranoia a lot (and he is), but if I could so easily fuck myself over by forgetting to set a certain 1 point skill each time I reset my points, I'd be paranoid as fuck too.

Never seen FredFriendly make a comment that wasn't a whiny bitchfest and complaining about the manga he's commenting on / calling it trash, and it looks like he's never going to stop. I'll never understand why he even comes to this site, considering how much he despises manga & anime.

@Escheron Yeah I know and it doesn't make any difference to me if you did or not, just saying there's a reason. At the glacial pace the manga is moving though, might be a long while before enough details trickle out for you to figure out what's going on with that though.

@Escheron There is actually an important reason in this one, but I can't say more than that. Central to the plot even, and not the usual fare.

It seems the translation managed to get even worse. At least he stopped fucking with the contrast settings randomly.

This is so bad I'm tempted to write off the entire translation group as a joke / meme scan group that's messing around.

@Escheron You shouldn't let "isekai" drive you away from a good series before you even try it. There's some fantastic series that either do the trope but polished to a mirror's shine or ones are technically isekai but it's not really relevant to the plot other than "this is why this guy is...

@Kanol @Epicredeemer Long time novel reader here (as in, since chapter 1 of the novel was first translated) and I've always had the impression that the author just skims a Wikipedia article for most stuff, then fills in the blanks with magic to gloss over the rest, like "magi silver" to replace...

@BestBoy He may look like a 14 year old boy but he's a stubborn old man who had his life's work and ambition denied to him at the last moment. He wants to have his moment and enjoy it for a while, even if he ends up not keeping it forever.

@gregger One thing to point out / add: the only reason it works at all is because his "cheat" is the auto translate function that he got when he arrived, which also translates the ancient runic language that spells are written in and subsequently lets him edit any spell he likes into whatever...
