Still love this manga, but am not appreciating the use of it’s a joke until it isn’t trope. All the shoujo that I’ve read that have used it makes the rival’s reason for pursuing feel shallow imo. This guy is no exception.

This is about an idiotic couple fighting and then making up by the chapter’s end. You can imagine the kind of stereotypical cliches that they use to spurn these plots. I’d only recommend if you want to get a quick fix of shoujo for the moment. The chapters are pretty self-contained so far...
