Somehow this ending is kinda different from the ending I read 10 years ago or so. Maybe what I read back then was the original while this one here is a revised version from a newer edition. In any case, this is a better ending. I remember in the ending I read back then Kasuga was a bigger coward...

I honestly don't pity Phos. All the suffering he went through was his own doing. He left himself be manipulated, took all sort of bad decisions, and basically forgot why he was doing all this in the first place. I don't really care what happens to him now.

Very nice chapter. It's very clear now that not all Oni are assholes, and these experiences help Sari grow too. On the plot side, we got some hints that Imperial Oni can suppress the peach eye power. This is probably the reason Mikoto couldn't kill him.
