This is somewhat of a depressing manhwa simply because the attitudes towards homosexuals are so hostile even from the main characters who are young university students who should probably be a bit more open-minded. I wonder how accurate this is considering real life South Korean society?

I'd love to see that kind of development on Ippo, so far it seems like he's been somewhat afraid to have that killer instinct in the ring.

Penalty shootout is totally not based on luck, you can always see the best penalty kick takers score and the best goalkeepers use data and skill to make the saves.
It's fine if the characters think so, but any team who does can be guaranteed to not go very far.
I don't think I can ever get into this manga due to the carefree and naive depiction of slavery in the earlier chapters. And it's not like it was a plot point either, it's just brushed aside.
