I've loved this manga from the start to now, but I hate to admit it, seeing the flashbacks to school life just remind me of how much better the beginning of this manga was then it is now. The slice of life elements before there were ever fight scenes were just sublime. Now it's still enjoyable...

Imagine this actually taking that turn. Croc and all of his friends die and enter into a deadly, ruthless blood-sport in which they will all be killed and resurrected repeatedly until there's nothing left of them but survival instinct and hatred.

In other news, poor croc. Like everyone who's ever gotten good playing with friends and thinks they can make it at competitions.
