@Nep Well it was the right thing to do for the protagonist, but it wasn't really necessary for the king to force such a silly convention. If you're talking about the knight then you're right, if not then I disagree.

Anyone who has experienced it should know by now that people who snipe are never reliable or consistent and the quality usually sucks on top of it all.

What is the point of this? If this group wanted to snipe, they should've at least done a decent job of it. As it is they're basically advertising how terrible they are, plus now I feel a bunch of hostility towards them for ruining the experience. I can't read this garbage, I don't know how bad...

As much as I admire Raian for taking the initiative I wish he would've only killed of that guy's arms so he couldn't pull any tricks. But at least he didn't fall for his dumb tricks at least, so that's good enough I think.

If he "protected this country" then why is he boiling in a vat of oil? All he really did was humiliate himself in front of the entire nation while they continued to rule and made preparations to deal with him.

@maffo666 Sure it would solve something. It would stop at a low level cliffhanger instead of a high level one. Low level cliffhangers are more bearable, so problem solved. Not all cliffhangers are equal!
