Resurrecting an old thread....but I don't see that interface on my Mangadex view. The entire box that contains the green comments button is simply not on my screen. I notice it has the little 'x' in the top right corner to close it. I wonder if I closed it and simply don't know how to reopen it.

@zhou Yeah, kinda looking like it. Still, I'm glad to see Kumi develop some spine this issue. I was tired of seeing her do the whole all-of-a-sudden-alcoholic-prostitute routine.

So my question is...will Kumi fall in love with her new captor, the way she did with Makoto? She has some serious Stockholm syndrome. And, I think I'm starting to like Kumi more than Rinko at this point.

@bigcoffee I was totally confused at first, but in the translating process I've had to read and re-read it a bunch of times to try to get all my amateurish translations correct. After reading it over and over, it makes more sense. The only thing I don't get at this point is what they hoped to...

@epistemix Thanks for the feedback. I'm doing a couple of issues of Tomogui (Razen) and then I'll probably try another volume of Blood Rain. Hopefully it will improve. The last chapter of Volume 3 was encouraging!

I just finished volume 3 and I don't know if I'll do more after this. I want to like this manga because it feels like it has potential, but the characters (Kumi especially) are just so stupid and unlikable. I actually thought chapter 29 was an improvement because it actually advanced the story...

@ferry agreed, it's pretty awful. I think the other title I'm working on right now may have it beaten for sheer terribleness though! Blood Rain....it really sucks.

@fatto_catto I totally agree. Someone else had done the first 3 chapters a long time ago. I read them and thought they were pretty decent. I wanted to see how the story turns out so I started translating chapters. Unfortunately, the story has gone downhill fast. I'll give it until the end of...

Yeah, this chapter was really bad. I hope it gets better. I don't want to translate another 60 or so chapters of this sort of stuff =(

Yeah, but even so. She's obviously distraught and under duress. Her face would be tear-streaked and her voice would be shaky after the whole ordeal she had gone through. I don't think it would hold up.

Forcing a confession just seems like a really stupid idea. It's hard to imagine that a video confession of someone naked and strapped into a chair is going on hold up in court.

@dundun123 I know, Rinko seems to think she has to do all the investigating and proof gathering for the police. I mean, it's kinda their job, for crying out loud!

Every chapter...more and more I feel that Taichi is completely worthless

@edgarsc19 I don't think it's supposed to justify what she's doing. It just gives some depth to the character. It's more interesting to know what caused the killer to be a complete psycho then for the author to make them just a generic killer with no real motivation. Her past doesn't justify...

@essen46 My guess is that she has something special planned for Rinko. Taichi and Rinko are closest to Kumi so I think she may just want to drag out whatever it is she wants to do to them.
