I'm a little confused why the dragon girl is upset. It might have been a mistranslated, but she had already said he'd sire many children with many women, so she must have wanted his first time; but she made him work as a prostitute? She's Surprised he had sex?
Not that I expect great writing...
@Ronye @chax_ I suppose we could say potatoes as well? Potato famines halved Ireland's population, and any dinner these days without some feels as if something's missing. I suppose cheese for some European countries would be sorely missed (though it's hardly the backbone of a diet), and I still...
If anyone makes a Isekai Tropes bingo board, one of the squares needs to be "The Japanese mans soul craves rice!" sitting right next to a square with "A Japanese can only feel clean with a bath or onsen!"
I wonder, if Isekai was a western trend, and the rice trope still existed, what would it...
@Pancakie You're likely right, he doesn't mention school, family, friends or anyone. That definitely gives a more of an indication towards him being separate from human society, and likely being a dog all along.
I assume at some point he actually became a dog right? Where did his clothes come from? How were they kept clean? Why couldn't he take his collar off? Why was he unable to at least write messages? It only makes sense if he was indeed partially delusional himself and was in fact a dog.
@Benjansss The only part of my comment addressing you was "I can see how you can say there was a lead up to the romance, but it still feels left field.", I should have probably formatted my post better to avoid confusion as I was originally going to write more about how the romance was unearned...
This was really enjoyable, I can see why it won awards. It seems the author has more plans for these characters? He has them (or characters with similar looks) on his twitter. One loses an eye.
@Benjansss I can see how you can say there was a lead up to the romance, but it still feels left...
I'm getting crazy strong "Yugami Doesn't Have Any Friends" vibes from this, so much so that I was certain it must the same author (it isn't). Really enjoying this so far.
