Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Rejected as a Hero

@diazkun This attitude infuriates me. Just because something is provided for free does not absolve it of criticism. And as I have already mentioned, if no one provides criticism, no one would ever improve. In short, stop being a sycophantic bootlicker. You're doing both yourself and the...

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Rejected as a Hero

@Ant1989 I have to say: it looks great. I understand that you still think it's nitpicking, but the improvement is honestly insane, and I don't think I'd be the only one to say so. Thank you very much for the high quality release! I'm a huge fan of this manga, so I very much appreciate you...

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Rejected as a Hero

@cooledicetea Properly done typesetting is part of "visually pleasing." I am aware that most people who consume Japanese media have very low standards, but if you praise people for not doing as good a job as they could have done, they will never improve.

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Rejected as a Hero

@Ant1989 I'm sorry, but pointing out bad font choices for typesetting is not nitpicking. You should not be using either TNR or Comic Sans for anything scanlation related. Honestly, the rest of the release is good, both the cleaning and typesetting in general. It's just the font choices that are...

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Rejected as a Hero

@Ant1989 Times New Roman is a standard font - for newspapers and other printed body copy. It should not be used for comics. I'm being brusque, but there is no debate about this. Look at Fusang's link. AnonBlack's guide is top notch.

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Rejected as a Hero

Thank you for the high res, but please use a different font. Do not emulate /ak/'s terrible typesetter.

The Executed Sage Who Was Reincarnated as a Lich Started an All-Out War - Vol. 1 Ch. 4.2

"king's landing"? That is so blatantly wrong, you don't even need to know Japanese to realize it. It couldn't be any more of an MTL if you tried. Machine translators often translate 王都 as "King's Landing" from Game of Thrones for some reason.

Hagure Idol Jigokuhen - Vol. 7 Ch. 43 - War War! Stop It

@Odoritomaki, Thanks for the chapter! I really do appreciate the post-chapter notes, but please - format them better. It's a literal wall of text in pretty much every chapter and is very difficult to read. Just some friendly advice: * Split the text into paragraphs and increase the line...

    Her Majesty's Swarm - Vol. 1 Ch. 7 - Close Aide

Crust? I think the word you're looking for is "carapace". Also, thanks for the scans, but there's really two things you need to do: * Stop overcleaning your pages. I'm assuming the raws don't originally look like that. I don't know what you're doing but the art is mush in quite a few of these...

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It's French, Ms. Elf

@baconcat It was Shurim, I think. But I'm having a hard time remembering now.

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It's French, Ms. Elf

@baconcat This is surprisingly common, even among people who have been scanlating for a while. I can understand that people might get it wrong if they've never read actual English literature, though. I've even pointed it out to a (pretty well known) scanlator once and the response I got back...

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It’s French Cuisine, Elf-san

Much better scans. No offense to the other guy; it could have been good but you need to apply a bit more common sense to MTL if you're going to use that route.

    Mushoku Tensei ~Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu~ - Vol. 14 Ch. 65 - Ultimate Fiance, Part 1

Did you change your proofreader? Wording is a bit funky in places.

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It's French, Ms. Elf

@TheDefend A better recommendation would be to use Translation Aggregator with JParser enabled. Trying to translate Japanese without looking at the meanings of individual words is impossible. Neither DeepL nor GTrans is particularly good at that.

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It's French, Ms. Elf

@GodGinrai Perhaps it was worse before the reupload, but there's still a bunch of incorrect ones. Some of the lines on the second and third pages are very odd.

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It's French, Ms. Elf

Looking through this again and comparing it to the raws... You do need someone to proof your translations a bit more. Appreciated if you do pick it up, but it needs work. Some of it is just not right.

    Welcome to Japan, Elf-san! - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - It's French, Ms. Elf

Some of the lines definitely seem a bit off. You could probably use another TL pass. Edit: Oh, it's MTL. Still, plenty of lines just don't really make sense in context. You don't need to know Japanese to notice that.
