Uh oh... Daye wore the tie. I’m 100% certain that the reason Chan suggested him not to was because a tie can be incredibly useful for the enemy in a fight, whether through choking or binding. Good little hint in there by the author, but now I’m scared Daye will get choked out.

Shen Mo is very convincing considering that blush and then her dismissive face of the MC, I honestly can’t tell if the author/artist did it intentionally or not which makes it even worse

I thought for a minute the MC was actually going to be the first Chinese MC I’ve ever read to actually be smart, but never mind, he’s only so-so. Clearly in this situation Shen Mo wouldn’t have had a problem with it actually being him, I really don’t understand this...

Aw, I’m disappointed she ended up being a bad guy. It would have been sort of refreshing to see a genuine celebrity girl in this kind of manhua.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but this turned out to be surprisingly interesting! I feel like the author executed pretty much everything well this chapter, it was unique and enjoyable! I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

Aww, sad to see that this probably will never actually be finished. I like the art and (so far) the characters more than Iron Ladies by a decent bit. Maybe I’ll have to give Iron Ladies another shot after all.

Aww it’s nice seeing he has some friends, I feel like the friends really make or break romcoms, I’d love to see them a little more! I mean, Nagatoro’s friends are great, so it could be a fun dynamic.

A lot of people are saying this is a great backstory, and while I do think it’s pretty nice, honestly I always find the whole replacement trope really weird, at least unless the author addresses it in the future. At the very least I think it would’ve been better for Noru to be very different...

I’m kind of hoping that this ends up going the route of Lugh instead deciding to team up with the hero to take down the goddess. I think that would be far more interesting.

Honestly the poem made me laugh a lot. I actually found it to be pretty in-line with the general manhua humor style.
