@givemersspls well kaoru literally wears the same thing every day, these clothes are a pretty big departure from that. Maybe it's a more general feeling of wearing something outside your comfort zone

@givemersspls I think kaoru feels uncomfortable having his picture taken because he feels uncomfortable in those feminine clothes, the same way saotome presumably would. So he's making an empathetic appeal to something he thinks they should both understand.

I feel sorry for fushi. His closest allies, bon and kahak, both have ulterior motives, and both will have to be reckoned with at some point.
