@Hoffe absolutely it is, but the point isn't to just win the third round. The point is to take it all, and to do that you either need to take down the Fang or the guy who beat him. Okubo was toyed with in the first round.

Again with the constant cries of plot armor. The new Ohma will crush Cosmo without going all out. No plot armor needed. And putting Okubo in is just plain stupid, he already showed that he can't stand a chance against the Fang, why would doing the same exact thing again be a good strategy?

@Nimroth People never dying despite everything is pretty much a shounen staple, just deeply ingrained in the genre. People seem to die easily enough for story reasons, namely Niko and Kiryu's master. I also doubt Ohma will really die in the end, that has been pushed too much and too early for it...

In my opinion Rei is just boring. He doesn't have any character at all really. And I don't get all the comments calling out Saw Paing, it has actually been stated multiple times that he is "surprisingly considerate" and he has never acted out physically despite mostly doing so verbally.

Calling it now, his new slave will be Rugo.

Wouldn't necessarily be a bad to play in order for him to lure away the opponent guarding the enemy gate and try to pass through it for the win.
