Yeah, master of none's story is kinda slow at the best of times but you wait until MC it starts to pick up a good bit and you get a better sense of how the rest of this story will be paced, at least that's how it seemed in the novel.

I kinda dislike it in isekais when they're like "don't use fire in a forest it'll burn down!" or "Earth magic will make the dungeon collapse!" Like sure it's realistic but it feels like a cop out from writing in something that allows the characters to compensate.
